It never goes out of style and it looks good on anyone.

Everyone is different and everyone has their own personal goals to reach. I began my health journey knowing nothing about carbs and the affect they have on your body. I didn't have an exercise routine and ate what I wanted within reason. I wasn't overweight but I wasn't in shape either.


It's a different path for everyone. It's a different look for all of us and it starts at any age. If you're 16 or 60.

Clearly to lead a healthy lifestyle the earlier in life to start the better. As children we follow the lead of our parents on how we eat and how active we are. Not everyone starts off in life being conscious of a healthy lifestyle. As we get older, it's all up to us. It's up to YOU.



The journey to finding the right activities for you may take a few attempts. I know for me I started by joining a local gym, hired a trainer and started watching my sugar/carb intake. That was about 12 years ago. I have done weight training, kickboxing, pilates, CrossFit and yoga. Along with biking, walking and working out on machines and on my own. I found that I would get bored with a particular workout so I would try something new. As I like to say "just do something.


Our bodies need to move daily. We need to keep up our strength & agility and our cardio. 20-30 min a day and you don't have to make it complicated.






DO what you can and don't be afraid.





Find a workout partner that is always a good idea. Someone who has the same interests and together you can keep each other accountable. We all have days when our energy level is low or we don't want to stick with our eating plan, a partner that you can lean on is highly recommended. Partnered with a Health Coach and the process flows smoothly.
